Warter Racing Fuel E85 purchased at petrol stations can contain from 68% to 79% ethanol, and the mixture varies according to the season. When buying the Warter E85R you can be sure of 100% repeatability of fuel composition.
Due to the exceptionally high oxygen content, we recommend to calculate an increase in fuel consumption of up to 40% compared to traditional petrol.
Note: Warter E85R and all other E85 mixes can be more aggressive than the rubber components in the fuel system, so we recommend making sure the fuel system is ethanol compatible.
A very strong alternative to petrol from petrol stations or racing fuels, if regulations allow it:
- Turbo engines
- Supercharged engines
- Naturally aspirated engines
How does Warter E85R differ from a regular E85?
As the name suggests, the E85R is very different from a "regular" E85 sold at petrol stations. “R" in the name means racing fuel. The E85 obtained from the station is theoretically 85% ethanol and 15% regular gasoline, or at least it should be. In most E85, this ratio changes seasonally. This means you can get 75% ethanol and 25% petrol or even less in the season! As you can probably guess, this affects the performance of the vehicle.
Does the Warter E85R always have a fixed composition?
Yes, Warter Racing E85R is 85% ethanol and 15% racing fuel, this ratio never changes. With the E85R, you can be sure that you get exactly the same every time. And you actually get higher quality fuel because of 15% race fuel instead of regular petrol.
